Welcome to my Blog!
My name is Natalia. I’m 33 years old and I come from the outskirts of the city of Poznan, where I live spending my free time with joy in bosom of nature, practicing nordic walking, additionally in the autumn season passionately picking mushrooms in beautiful polish forests. Blog Italia by Natalia was established in January 2013 and it’s my dream come true for everyday opportunities to share the love of Italy with people, which is in my heart uninterruptedly for more than sixteen years. At that time, during the fifteen trips with total time of more than nine months I‘ve visited most of the twenty Italian regions. Although, I saw the enormity of the beautiful places, but my greatest love was, is and always will be Sicily, its beauty, diversity and great people. This unique Island is also the most frequent subject of blog posts, wherein I love to reveal to readers places hardly unknown and indescribabled in Poland, such as The Canyon Cavagrande del Cassibile, Reserve Torre Salsa, Marzamemi whether climbing on the Monte Cofano. Using my knowledge about Italy, I try to help anyone who asks me, but because of very numerous messages and emails I receive it often takes a time. Blogging is my second additional job, which I combine with private life and primary work as civil engineer. I advise not only to my readers, but also i.a. to journalists and to books authors. My work was appreciated by readers in February 2015, bringing Italia by Natalia, by sending text message voices, to the semifinals of the most prestigious polish contest for bloggers „Blog of the Year 2014” in two categories: „Travel” (place 6 of 230) and „Text of the Year” (place 5 of 520) as the only one, so far polish blog dedicated to Italy and thus confirming, that Italia by Natalia is the most popular polish blog about Italy. As the only Polish blogger in March 2016 and March 2017, I had pleasure of attending business to business events called Italian Coast to Coast Weddings, where I traveled in the international company of journalists and people related to the wedding branch, exploring delights of the most beautiful areas of the Campania region. I am co-author of two guides about Italy, which have been published by the Pascal Publishing House.
